H2H Program Alert: Sears/K-Mart is having a donation drive for what they call "Heroes to Home". I have researched and found that they partner with an organization called Rebuilding Together that distributes the building materials to adapt homes for the quilified returning servicemembers. I contacted "rebuildingtogether.org" to get details on the program and how we can work it into our H2H program (attn: J-Bone in Detroit). They sent me to the local affiliate - "rebuildingtogetherboston.org" with a physical address at 40 Adams St., Milton, MA 02186 (tele 617-296-0058). I'll keep you updated on my progress working this connection. This is something we can all start working on now in our particular areas of service. "Sears.com" also has a Veterans' Employment program that includes spouses of deployed soldiers. Follow the links and see if they can work for you. Stay in touch.
